The newest normal

Well. What a beautiful evening. When I got home there was a blue sky decorated with puffy clouds. A breeze that lifted my hair at the roots, gently but noticeably. Perfect warm temps without the typical June humidity. I had no choice--I had to be out in it. After dinner, C Claire and I drove over to Pratt and took a long, wonderful walk. Three point three miles. Just after two miles had been covered, down came some gentle sprinkles. A few steps later we could see a fabulous rainbow.

The whole experience was a gift, given over and over again. Made it easier to accept that walking is now the norm. Running would have been too hot--walking made it feel sooooooo good.
